“I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”  Revelation 3:8

When God Opens and Closes Doors.

God’s timing is perfect, and His plans are always for our good. Sometimes He opens doors wide to new opportunities, blessings, and breakthroughs. At other times, He closes doors—sometimes gently, sometimes firmly—to protect us from what is no longer meant for us. Holding on to closed doors only hinders our progress and steals our peace.

Trust that when God closes a door, it is not to punish or abandon you, but to redirect your steps toward a better path. Let go of what is behind you, and don’t get stuck in regret or fear. God’s new doors are waiting for your faith and obedience.

It can be hard to release what feels familiar or safe, but remember, God knows the future and wants to guide you into your destiny. When you trust Him to open and close doors, you position yourself to walk fully in His promises.

Prayer: Lord, help me to trust Your perfect timing. Give me courage to release what You have closed and faith to walk confidently through the new doors You open. Help me not to cling to the past but to embrace Your plan for my future. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection: Is there a door God has already closed in your life? What new door is He inviting you to step through with faith today?

God bless you abundantly.
