“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.” Psalm 46:1–2 

Life doesn’t always come with warning signs. Storms hit, foundations shift, and circumstances can feel overwhelming. But this powerful verse reminds us that even when the world feels like it’s falling apart, God is not moved. He is our refuge—our hiding place—and our strength when we feel weak. He is ever-present, not distant. He doesn’t just watch from afar; He steps into our chaos with power and peace.

Faith doesn’t guarantee a storm-free life, but it gives us confidence that we’re not alone in the storm. The mountains may crumble, the sea may roar, but God remains our stronghold. In Him, we find stillness. In Him, we find courage.

Keep walking. Keep trusting. God is carrying you—even now.

Prayer: Heavenly Father,Thank You for being my refuge and strength. When life feels uncertain and fear creeps in, remind me of Your constant presence. You are my ever-present help in trouble. Anchor my heart in Your peace, and give me the strength to trust You, even when everything around me is shaking. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight. I fix my eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
