Don’t judge people based on what others say. Be wise, seek truth, and see them through God’s eyes.

We live in a world quick to form opinions based on gossip, rumors, and assumptions. But God calls us to be discerning, not judgmental. Just as the Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7), we are called to look beyond appearances and hearsay. When we judge others based on what we’ve heard instead of seeking the truth ourselves, we may miss out on seeing the beauty and purpose God has placed in them.

“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” John 7:24

Jesus taught us to love, not label. He walked with the broken, stood up for the misunderstood, and saw value where others saw shame. Let us follow His example—get to know people, listen, show compassion, and let God guide your perspective.

Heavenly Father, give me a heart that loves like Yours and eyes that see people as You see them. Help me not to judge by what others say, but to walk in wisdom and grace. Teach me to respond with kindness, compassion, and truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection: Who in your life might you have misunderstood because of what others said? Pray and ask God to help you see them with fresh eyes—His eyes. Relationships flourish when we seek truth, not assumption, and when we allow God’s grace to shape our perspective.

God bless you abundantly.
