“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3

Waiting is one of the hardest things we’re called to do in our walk with God. It challenges our faith, tests our patience, and often leaves us wondering, “Why not now?” But throughout Scripture, we see a consistent truth: God’s delays are not His denials.

He waited until Abraham was 100 to fulfill His promise of a son. He let Moses spend 40 years in the wilderness before calling him to lead Israel. He allowed Joseph to remain in a prison cell for over a decade before placing him in a palace. Why? Because God isn’t just working on the promise—He’s working on the person.

Sometimes, we think we’re ready—but God sees the whole picture. He knows what’s ahead. And in His mercy, He uses the waiting season to shape us, humble us, and prepare us so we can carry the weight of the blessing to come. If you’re waiting, you’re not forgotten—you’re being formed.

Don’t despise the process. Let the waiting deepen your faith, not steal your hope. Trust that God is not late; He is setting the stage for something greater than you can imagine.

The same God who came through for Abraham, Moses, and Joseph will come through for you—right on time.

Faith Declaration :I will not grow weary in the waiting. God is never late. He is preparing me, maturing me, and aligning everything for His perfect plan. I choose faith over fear.

Prayer : Lord, help me trust You when I can’t see the full picture. Give me strength to wait with hope, and faith to believe that You are working behind the scenes. Shape my heart, refine my spirit, and prepare me for all You have planned. In Jesus’ name, amen.

What feels like delay is often preparation. Trust God’s timing—it’s always perfect.

God bless you abundantly.
