Give God Your First Attention.
A crowded schedule can quietly push God to the edge of your life. Work, family, responsibilities, appointments, plans, and even good things can consume so much of our attention that we eventually realize we have been giving God only what is left over.
God does not desire to be another appointment squeezed into your schedule. He desires your heart and your first attention. Before you begin carrying the demands of the day, spend time in His presence. Pray before the pressure begins. Listen before making important decisions. Allow His Word to shape your thoughts before the noise of the world fills your mind.
Time with God is not another responsibility to complete—it is where your soul is renewed. His presence gives strength when you are weary, wisdom when you are uncertain, and peace when life feels overwhelming. Sometimes we think we are too busy to pray, when those are often the moments we need prayer the most.
Jesus Himself withdrew from the crowds to spend time with the Father. If we continually pour ourselves into responsibilities without allowing God to refill us, eventually we become spiritually exhausted. Being still before God reminds us that we do not have to control everything or carry every burden ourselves.
When life becomes overwhelming, return to His presence. Put down the phone, quiet the distractions, open His Word, and simply spend time with Him. Even a few intentional moments can redirect your heart toward what matters most.
Make God your priority, not your leftover. When your life flows from His presence, you can approach everything else with greater peace, wisdom, strength, and purpose.
Bible Verse : “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I have allowed busyness to take Your place in my life. Help me to give You my first attention and make Your presence my priority. Quiet my heart, renew my strength, and give me wisdom for everything I need to carry today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge: Before checking messages, social media, or beginning tomorrow’s responsibilities, give God your first moments. Read a passage of Scripture, pray, and spend a few minutes quietly in His presence. Start with God before starting with the world, and carry the peace of His presence throughout your day.
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH JESUS CHRIST.GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.
