“And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.” (Psalm 39:7)

If you’re in a season of waiting today, it’s easy to think it’s all just a big waste. But trust me, that’s not true. God does some of His biggest work in our waiting and in our wilderness moments.

Perhaps the greatest work He does is helping us to trust Him, cultivating a dependency that transcends our situations and circumstances, and is greater than our feelings. Ultimately, that’s what God desires for us: to live fully dependent on Him.

If that’s where you find yourself this morning, don’t give up. Don’t lose hope. God hasn’t forgotten about you. Remember, waiting isn’t wasted time—it’s a precious opportunity to trust Him.
