Are You OK?
Are you OK?
It is a simple question, but sometimes it is exactly the question someone desperately needs to hear. The strongest-looking person in the room may be carrying a battle nobody knows about. Behind a smile may be exhaustion, fear, disappointment, loneliness, financial pressure, family struggles, unanswered prayers, or pain that has never been spoken aloud.
Sometimes we become so good at saying “I’m fine” that nobody realizes how heavy our hearts have become.
But you never have to pretend before God.
God sees beyond the smile. He knows the thoughts you have not shared, the tears you have cried privately, the questions you are afraid to ask, and the burdens you have been carrying quietly. You can come to Him exactly as you are. You do not need perfect words. You simply need an open heart.
Give Him what is worrying you. Tell Him what hurts. Bring Him the situation you cannot control and the prayer that still has no answer. God’s invitation is not to carry everything by yourself, but to cast your worries upon Him because He cares for you personally.
And today, remember someone else may need that same care.
Ask someone, “Are you really OK?” Then give them time to answer. Listen without immediately trying to fix everything. A phone call, a message, a prayer, a few encouraging words, or simply being present may mean more than you realize.
Sometimes God answers someone’s prayer by sending another person to remind them that they are not alone.
Be that person today.
And if you are the one struggling quietly, please remember: you are seen, you are cared for, and you do not have to carry everything alone.
Bible Verse : “Casting all your worries on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7.
Prayer : Heavenly Father, You know everything happening inside my heart. I give You the worries, fears, disappointments, and burdens I have been carrying quietly. Give me Your strength and peace. Open my eyes today to someone who may be struggling, and help me show them genuine love, kindness, and compassion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge : Reach out to one person today and sincerely ask, “Are you OK?” Don’t rush the conversation. Listen. Encourage them. Pray with them if appropriate. Your few minutes of genuine care could bring hope to someone who has been silently carrying more than you know.
YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS CARRYING—BE KIND, LISTEN, AND CARE.
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH JESUS CHRIST.
GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.
