God’s Ways Are Higher.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8–9 

Sometimes, the way God works can seem confusing or even illogical to us. We may wonder why He allows certain delays, detours, or struggles in our journey. To the natural mind, it can look like “madness.” But the truth is, God sees the full picture when we only see a piece. He is orchestrating every detail for your good and His glory.

Think of Joseph—sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned. To those around him, his story looked like failure. But in God’s plan, it was preparation for promotion. At the right time, Joseph went from the prison to the palace (Genesis 41:41).

When things don’t make sense, resist the urge to doubt. Instead, lean into trust. God’s plan is always perfect, even when it feels uncertain. What seems like a setback is often a setup for something greater.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to trust Your higher ways even when I don’t understand. Give me faith to rest in Your perfect plan for my life.

Declaration: God’s ways are greater than mine. I trust His perfect timing and plan for my destiny.

His methods may look like madness to the world, but His plan for you is flawless. Trust Him—He’s working it out!
