He Walks on Water. God be with you.

There are moments in life when everything feels overwhelming—like waves rising higher than you can handle. You may feel like you’re sinking under pressure, uncertainty, or fear. But in those very moments, remember this truth: our Savior walks on water.

What overwhelms you is already under His feet. The storms that feel too strong for you are no match for His power. Jesus is not distant in your struggle—He is right there in the middle of it, watching, caring, and ready to reach out to you.

When Peter stepped out onto the water, he was able to walk as long as his eyes were fixed on Jesus. But the moment he focused on the wind and waves, fear took over, and he began to sink. How often do we do the same? We start with faith, but when challenges rise, we shift our focus to the storm instead of the Savior.

Yet even when Peter began to sink, Jesus immediately reached out and caught him. That is the grace of God. Even when your faith feels small or shaken, He is still there to lift you up. One call to Him—one prayer, one cry for help—is enough for Him to respond.

God is able to shift your situation in an instant. The storm may not disappear immediately, but His presence will carry you through it. His peace will calm your heart, and His strength will sustain you.

Today, fix your eyes on Jesus. Do not let fear take control. Trust the One who walks on water, because if He can stand above the storm, He can surely carry you through it.

Bible Verse: “Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ He said, ‘why did you doubt?’”  Matthew 14:31.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, when I feel overwhelmed, help me to fix my eyes on You. Strengthen my faith and calm my fears. Thank You for always being near and ready to lift me up. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge : When you feel overwhelmed today, pause and shift your focus from the problem to Jesus. Take a moment to pray and remind yourself that He is in control. Speak His promises over your situation and choose faith over fear. Trust that the One who walks on water will carry you through every storm.
