Put God First.

Putting God first is not about adding Him to your life—it’s about centering your life around Him. When God is first, everything else finds its proper place. Decisions become clearer. Peace becomes steadier. Direction becomes sharper. Life may not become easier, but it becomes ordered.

Putting God first means trusting Him before trusting your own understanding. It means seeking His will before chasing outcomes. It’s choosing obedience even when it costs you comfort, and faith even when you don’t have all the answers. God honours priority. What you place first, He blesses and multiplies.

Often we ask God to bless our plans, but God invites us to surrender our plans to Him. When He is first, He goes ahead of you—opening doors, closing harmful paths, and providing what you need at the right time. He is faithful to lead those who trust Him fully.

Putting God first doesn’t mean you’ll never struggle; it means you’ll never struggle alone. His presence brings peace in chaos, strength in weakness, and hope in uncertainty. When God is first, your life aligns with His purpose, and His grace carries you forward.

Today, make a simple but powerful choice: put God first—in your thoughts, your time, your decisions, and your future. He will take care of the rest.

Prayer: Lord, I choose to put You first in every area of my life. Guide my steps, align my heart with Your will, and help me trust You completely. Amen.
