Greater Ahead.God be with you.

It is natural to look back on the past—moments of joy, achievements, failures, or even painful memories. Sometimes the past can feel comfortable, even when it wasn’t perfect. Other times, it can weigh us down and make us hesitant to move forward. But God’s Word reminds us that what He has ahead of you is far greater than anything behind you.

God is a God of new beginnings. He is always working, always creating, and always leading His children into something better. Your past does not define your future. It may have shaped you, taught you, and strengthened you—but it does not limit what God is about to do in your life.

Holding onto the past can sometimes keep us from stepping into God’s promises. Whether it is past success that makes us comfortable or past pain that makes us fearful, God calls us to trust Him with what lies ahead. He is doing something new—something that requires faith, courage, and a willingness to move forward.

Even when the future feels uncertain, you can trust the One who is leading you. God sees the path clearly, even when you cannot. He is guiding your steps with purpose, opening new doors, and preparing opportunities that align with His plan for your life.

Letting go does not mean forgetting everything that has happened—it means choosing not to be held back by it. It means believing that God’s plan is still unfolding and that your best days are still ahead.

Today, choose to embrace what God is doing now. Release the past into His hands and step forward with faith. What He is preparing for you will be worth the trust it takes to move ahead.

Bible Verse : “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18,19

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to let go of the past and trust You with my future. Give me the courage to move forward in faith and embrace the new things You are doing in my life. Lead my steps and fill my heart with hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge :  Take a moment today to reflect on something from your past that you have been holding onto. Surrender it to God in prayer. Choose to focus on what He is doing now instead of what has already happened. Take one step forward in faith, trusting that God has greater things ahead for you.

Nothing is impossible with Jesus Christ.
