Be Humble Before the Lord.

Humility is one of the most powerful virtues in the kingdom of God. The Bible tells us, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up” James 4:10. True humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less and exalting God above all. When we humble ourselves, we acknowledge that every good thing in our lives comes from Him.

Don’t wait until circumstances or challenges force you to be humbled. Instead, choose to walk humbly before the Lord daily. Pride says, “I can do it on my own.” Humility says, “Lord, I need You in everything.” Pride resists God, but humility attracts His grace and favor.

Jesus is our greatest example. Though He was the Son of God, He humbled Himself, taking on the form of a servant, and was obedient even to death on the cross (Philippians 2:8). Because of His humility, God exalted Him to the highest place. In the same way, when we walk in humility, we position ourselves for promotion, favor, and breakthroughs.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart of humility. Remove pride from me and let me live fully dependent on You. Help me to reflect Your character and serve others with love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration: I choose humility over pride. I bow before God, and He will lift me in due season.
