Sometimes the Lord allows storms in our lives to accomplish His divine purposes. These challenges may not always be easy to understand, but they serve as opportunities for growth, refinement, and deeper reliance on Him. When we try to run from God’s calling—like Jonah—we often bring unnecessary trouble upon ourselves. Yet even in our disobedience, God remains near.

His heart is always for us to repent, turn back, and walk in obedience. No matter how far we’ve strayed, His grace is greater. He uses even the storms to draw us closer, revealing His unfailing love and sovereign plan.

God’s love is relentless. He does not leave us in our struggles but patiently calls us back to Him. When we surrender, He calms the storms, restores our peace, and leads us into His purpose. Just as He gave Jonah another chance, He extends the same mercy to us.

“You hurled me into the depths, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me.To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.” Jonah 2:3,6

God bless you abundantly.
