Hosanna to the King.

Hosanna Sunday is a powerful reminder of both praise and surrender. The word “Hosanna” means “save us now,” a cry that carries both worship and deep expectation. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the people lifted their voices in praise, declaring Him as King. Yet many did not fully understand how He would bring salvation. Still, they chose to honour Him.

In the same way, we are called to trust God even when we do not fully understand His plans. Life can bring situations that feel uncertain, and answers may not always come the way we expect. But Hosanna Sunday reminds us that God’s ways are higher, and His purpose is always perfect.

True praise is not just spoken—it is lived. It is choosing to trust God in every season, to surrender our burdens, and to believe that He is working for our good. When we lay down our worries, fears, and expectations before Him, we make room for His peace and presence in our lives.

Jesus is still the King today. He is still saving, restoring, and working in the lives of His people. Nothing has changed about His power or His love. The same God who entered Jerusalem with purpose is moving in your life right now.

Let today be a moment of genuine worship. Lift your voice in praise, not only for what God has done, but for what He is about to do. Trust Him with your present and your future. Even when you don’t understand the path, you can trust the One who leads it.

Hosanna is not just a word—it is a declaration of faith.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lift my heart in praise to You today. Thank You for being my Savior and my King. Help me to trust You fully and surrender every burden into Your hands. Fill my heart with faith and let my life reflect true worship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge : Take time today to praise God intentionally. Play worship music or spend a few quiet moments thanking Him for His goodness. Surrender one burden you have been carrying and trust Him with it. Let your words, actions, and attitude reflect a heart of worship. Declare today, “Hosanna—Lord, I trust You completely.”
