At the root of every ambition and decision in life, there are only two driving forces: the pursuit of our own glory or the pursuit of God’s glory. One path leads to pride, emptiness, and striving; the other leads to peace, purpose, and eternal reward. Scripture reminds us: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
When we live for our own glory, we crave recognition, applause, and validation from people. Yet human approval is fleeting. But when we live for God’s glory, every act—whether big or small—becomes worship. It shifts the focus from “look at me” to “look at Him.” God’s glory is weighty, eternal, and life-giving.
Today, pause and reflect: whose glory are you carrying? Ask the Holy Spirit to purify your motives, so that your life becomes a mirror reflecting Christ to the world.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I have chased after my own glory. Today, I choose to live for Your glory alone. Let my words, actions, and thoughts bring honor to You. May my life point others to Jesus. Amen.
Declaration: I live for the glory of God. His name will be magnified through my life!
Pause today and reflect—whose glory are you carrying? Yours or God’s? Choose His!
God bless you abundantly.
