God Uses Ordinary People for Extraordinary Purposes.
“Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” 1 Corinthians 1:26–27
God delights in using ordinary people—just like you—to carry out extraordinary plans. When you feel like you don’t measure up, when you wonder if you’re qualified, remember: it’s not about your ability, it’s about your availability. God equips those He calls. He used a stuttering man to lead a nation (Moses), a teenage girl to carry the Messiah (Mary), and a fisherman to lead the church (Peter). You are never too insignificant for His purpose. He specializes in turning simple lives into powerful testimonies.
Even when others overlook you, God sees what’s inside you. You were created on purpose, for a purpose. Don’t let fear or insecurity stop you. Lean into His calling. Your “yes” can unlock miracles, not just for you—but for others through you.
God doesn’t need you to be perfect—just willing. He’s not looking for talent as much as trust. The very places where you feel weak are where His strength will shine. Keep saying yes to God, even in small things. You’re part of something much bigger than you realize.
Declaration: I declare that I am chosen by God for a divine purpose. Though I may feel ordinary, I am filled with extraordinary potential through Christ. I will walk boldly in my calling, knowing God is working through me for His glory. I am useful, I am called, and I am ready.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that You see potential in me even when I can’t. Help me to trust Your plan and walk confidently in my calling. Use my life as a vessel for Your glory. I surrender my gifts, my fears, and my future to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
You are not disqualified. You are chosen. And your life in God’s hands is full of purpose and power. God bless you abundantly.
