The Israelites were in just such a place when they were leaving Egypt and found themselves trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army. They needed someone else to fight for them and to see God’s power, rather than trying to do things on their own. God knows when we need Him to step in directly, and He is perfectly capable of doing so. Our role in such moments is simply to not be afraid and to not run away. In fact, this is what we’re called to do at all times. Knowing that God will not abandon us or let us down should give us the courage to not be ruled by fear. Jesus gives us His peace and says, “Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27). Whether we’re pushing forward or standing still, we do so with His supporting presence. Stay close to God, and He will be with you through whatever comes.
God bless you abundantly.
