“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”Deuteronomy 31:8

No matter how dark or uncertain life feels right now, let this truth steady your soul: God is not just watching over you—He’s walking with you. He goes before you to prepare the way, walks beside you to guide you, and stays behind you to protect you. You are surrounded by His presence.

Just as He was with Joseph through betrayal, abandonment, and isolation, God is with you in your trials. Joseph’s pain wasn’t the end of his story—it was the path to his purpose. And so is yours.

Don’t be discouraged by what hasn’t happened yet. Delay does not mean denial. God is still writing your story—and it’s filled with redemption, restoration, and purpose.

Declaration: God is with me. He goes before me and fights my battles. I will not be afraid or discouraged, for I am never alone. His plan for me will prevail.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for going before me. Even when I feel forgotten or discouraged, remind me that You are working behind the scenes. Like You were with Joseph, be with me—guiding, protecting, and positioning me for Your purpose. I choose to trust You, even when I don’t understand. Fill me with peace, and help me walk with courage, knowing You will never leave or forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
