The Reason for the Season.
Jesus, You are the true reason for this season—not the lights, the gifts, or the celebrations, but Your love that came near. In a world longing for hope, You stepped into our humanity with humility and grace. Heaven touched earth, not through power or spectacle, but through a Savior born in a manger.
“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins” Matthew 1:21.
Jesus, You came to rescue, to restore, and to redeem what was broken. You brought hope into our brokenness and light into our darkness. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it” John 1:5.
Christmas is the reminder that God did not remain distant. He came close. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” John 1:14. You walked among us, felt our pain, carried our burdens, and revealed the depth of God’s love.
Today, we pause to remember You. We thank You. We worship You. You are the greatest gift heaven could ever give. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given” Isaiah 9:6. Through You, peace was made possible, forgiveness was offered, and eternal life was secured.
May our hearts never lose sight of this truth: Christmas is not about what we receive—it’s about Who we have received. Because You came, we have hope. Because You live, we are never alone.
Jesus, You are the reason for this season.
God bless you abundantly.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for coming near. Thank You for Your humility, Your love, and Your sacrifice. This Christmas, help my heart remain centered on You. May my life reflect gratitude, worship, and faith. I honour You today and always. Amen.
Faith Declaration: Jesus is the reason for this season. He is my hope, my light, and my Savior. Because He came, my life is filled with grace and peace.
Christmas reminds us that God came close. In Jesus, love entered our broken world, bringing hope, light, and salvation. Pause, remember, and worship—the greatest gift has already been given.
Jesus is the reason for this season. God bless you abundantly. God bless you abundantly.
