Unstoppable Restoration: God’s Favor Is Turning Your Story Around.

Month of unstoppable restoration and divine favor.

Main Bible Verse:

“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army which I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied, and praise the name of Yahweh your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be put to shame.”  Joel 2:25-26.

Date : 02 August 2026

Introduction: Reaching Out in Love

Welcome to the first Sunday of August! Today, August 2, 2026, marks the beginning of a powerful new season in our church family. Before we look into God’s Word today, I want us to make a simple, heart-touching decision together as a church family this month.

Let us please decide right now that this month, every single one of us will make it a priority to call or text at least one person. Do not just wait for people to reach out to you; reach out to them first! Pick up the phone, send a message, or talk to someone after service. Ask them with genuine warmth: “How are you? Hope you’re doing good. How was your day? Are you doing okay?”

So often, we witness two-way interactions that have become completely one-sided. Someone calls out of genuine love and asks, “How are you? How was your day?”, but the person on the other end only answers with short words like, “I’m fine,” or “It was okay.” They never ask back, “How are you doing? Thank you for calling me. Thank you for your caring message.” Relationships cannot survive when conversation is always one-sided. Relationships grow when we care for one another equally!

Many people in our community have shared their painful experiences with me. So many are going through silent struggles, carrying deep wounds, and feeling completely forgotten and alone. I am not blaming anyone—we all get busy with our daily work, families, and busy lives. But a simple, sincere question like, “Are you okay?”, “How was your day?”, a simple “Thank you for checking on me,” or a warm, genuine smile can be a life-changing gift to someone who is hurting. A small act of care can give someone the hope they need to keep going. Let us stop one-sided living and be God’s loving hands and voice to each other this month! Thank you so much for your support and love.

Throughout last month, we were blessed by our theme: The Month of Prayer and Receiving Miracles. Together, we walked through 1 Kings chapters 17, 18, 19, and 20. We saw God send ravens to feed Elijah, answer by fire on Mount Carmel, bring heavy rain after a dry drought, speak in a gentle whisper when Elijah was tired, and give miraculous victories in battle. We learned that fervent prayer moves the heart of God and breaks every dry spell in our lives.

Now, as we step out of that month of earnest prayer and divine miracles, God is building directly on that foundation! All those prayers you prayed last month have set the stage for what God is doing right now. Today, we step into a brand-new season: This is a month of unstoppable restoration and divine favor.

Have you ever felt like you lost too much time during a long season of dry struggle? Maybe you lost a job, a relationship, your peace of mind, or your health. You look back at the years that passed and wonder if it is too late for you to recover. But I have good news for you from the Word of God today. When God decides to restore you, no human being, no mistake, and no evil force can stop Him.

Divine favor means God is smiling upon you and opening doors you could not open on your own. Restoration means God is giving back what was stolen, broken, or lost—making it better, stronger, and more beautiful than before. As we enter this new month, let go of past tears. The God who answered your prayers with miracles last month is now stepping in to restore everything you lost!

Part 1: What God Restores, No One Can Stop

When God decides to bless you, the whole world has to stand back and watch Him work. Human beings might try to close doors against you, but when God opens a door, no man can shut it. The enemy might try to tell you that your situation is hopeless, but God’s voice is louder than the voice of fear. Unstoppable restoration means that God’s plan for your life cannot be canceled by your past mistakes or the bad actions of other people.

Think about the story of Joseph in the Bible. His own brothers hated him, sold him into slavery, and tried to ruin his future. Later, he was falsely accused and put into prison for years. It looked like his life was completely destroyed and his dreams were dead. But God was still working behind the scenes. When God’s time for favor arrived, Joseph was lifted out of the prison and made a leader over the whole land of Egypt in a single day. What people meant for evil, God turned around for good.

Your story is not over just because you faced a setback. God is taking every broken piece of your life and put it back together. You do not need to fight or worry about the people who tried to hurt you or hold you back. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and His justice brings restoration. Keep your heart clean, keep loving others, and keep trusting in Jesus. When divine favor rests upon you, even your struggles will end up serving God’s great plan for your life. God is turning your sorrow into joy right now.

Part 2: Double Honor for Your Past Shame

Many people walk around carrying heavy shame and embarrassment from things that happened in their past. Maybe you experienced a painful failure, or someone deeply hurt you and left you feeling worthless. You might feel like everyone is judging you or that you will always be defined by your hardest moments. But God’s favor changes your identity. He takes away your filthy rags of sadness and wraps you in clothes of praise and honor.

In Joel 2:26, God promises that His people will never again be put to shame. When God restores you, He does not just fix the problem quietly in a corner; He lifts your head up high in front of the very things that once made you cry. Where you were once rejected, you will be accepted. Where people spoke down to you, God will exalt you. He gives you beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning.

Imagine a broken vase that a loving artist gathers up from the floor. Instead of throwing the pieces away, the artist carefully glues them back together using pure gold. The vase becomes far more valuable and beautiful than it was before it was broken. That is what God is doing with your life this month. Your broken heart, your lost years, and your quiet tears are being transformed into a powerful testimony. Do not hide your head in shame anymore. Walk with confidence today because the King of Kings has chosen to honor you and bless you abundantly.

Part 3: Walking in the Light of Divine Favor

Favor is not something you earn by being perfect; favor is a free gift of grace from a loving Father. When God’s favor is on you, simple effort produces extraordinary results. You will find that opportunities come to you that you did not even ask for. People will feel compelled to help you and show you kindness, even if they do not know why. Favor causes you to stand out in a crowd and prosper even in difficult times.

To walk in divine favor, you must align your heart with God’s heart. Start your days with gratitude and thanksgiving. Instead of complaining about what you lack, thank God for what He is about to do. Speak words of life and faith over your family, your work, and your health. When you speak faith, you create space for God’s favors to manifest in your everyday life.

Also, remember that divine favor is meant to be shared. God blesses you so that you can be a blessing to others. When you receive God’s favor, look around you for someone who is hurting and show them that same grace. Share your bread with the hungry, offer a kind word to the lonely, and forgive those who have hurt you. When you become a channel of God’s love to the world, His favor will never stop flowing in your life. This month, walk boldly knowing that God’s goodness and mercy are following you wherever you step.

Part 4: Reclaiming Your Lost Years and Dreams

One of the greatest fears people have is that they have run out of time. You might look at your age or your bank account and think, “I am too old,” or “It is too late for my dreams to come true.” But God is not bound by human time or physical limits. He is the Creator of time itself. What takes a human being twenty years to achieve, God can do for you in a single moment of favor.

The Bible promises that God will restore the years that the locusts have eaten. That means God can compress time for you. He can give you back the peace, the health, the joy, and the progress that you thought were gone forever. If you lost years to sickness, God can give you strong and vibrant health today. If you lost years to bad decisions, God can give you wisdom that moves you forward rapidly.

Do not allow the enemy to convince you to give up on your dreams. Dust off those deep desires that you buried in your heart because you thought they were impossible. God is reviving your spirit this month. He is putting a new song in your mouth and fresh strength in your body. Expect good things to happen to you every single day this month. Expect restored relationships, open doors, unexpected blessings, and deep peace. God’s promise of restoration is sure, and He will finish the good work He started in you.

A Call to Action: Step Out in Faith

Now that you have heard God’s promises, what are you going to do? Faith is not just sitting down and waiting passively; faith is taking a step forward even when you are afraid. God is asking you today to let go of your doubts and step into action. If you want to see unstoppable restoration, you must stop looking back at your past mistakes. You cannot walk forward into God’s bright future if you are constantly staring at yesterday’s shadows.

I challenge you today to make a clean break from negative thinking, fear, and hopelessness. Stop saying that things will never get better. Start speaking God’s promises over your life every morning. Forgive the people who hurt you, let go of bitterness, and choose to trust God completely. Take that step of obedience you have been putting off. Apply for that job, reach out to mend that broken relationship, or start that new project. When you take one step of faith, God will take ten steps toward you with His unstoppable favor.

Altar Call: Come to Jesus Today

If you are reading this today and you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, or if you have wandered far away from Him, this moment is for you. Restoration begins at the cross. Jesus died for your sins and rose again so that you could be made completely brand new. You do not need to clean yourself up before coming to Him; come just as you are with all your burden, pain, and brokenness.

If you want to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, or if you want to dedicate your life back to Him today, please pray this prayer from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I come to You today just as I am. I admit that I have sinned and made mistakes. I believe You died on the cross for me and rose again. Forgive my sins and wash me clean. I invite You into my heart today to be my Savior and Lord. Take my broken life and restore me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me live for You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer, heaven is celebrating, and your journey of divine restoration starts right now!

Deliverance Session: Breaking Every Chain

In the mighty name of Jesus, we break every chain of bondage, fear, and stagnation holding your life back today. Every evil plan set up to steal your peace, your joy, your health, and your blessings is destroyed right now by the fire of the Holy Spirit.

We command every spirit of delay, lack, sickness, and depression to leave your life immediately in Jesus’ name. Whatever has kept you bound in shame or held you in spiritual prison is shattered by the power of the blood of Jesus. We release God’s divine healing over your body, mind, and spirit. We declare that you are set free, completely delivered, and protected under the shadow of the Almighty. No weapon formed against you shall prosper from this day forward.

Conclusion

As we bring today’s message to a close, keep your heart fixed on God’s great goodness. Remember that you are not walking into this month of August alone. The Almighty God is going before you to make every crooked path straight. The season of pain and loss is over, and your season of unstoppable restoration has officially begun.
