God’s Masterpiece.
God created the heavens and the earth—the vast skies, the moon and the stars. He formed every beast on the land, every bird in the air, and every fish in the sea. He designed every petal of every flower and every leaf on every tree. And from the dust of the earth, He created every man and every woman. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Genesis 1:1 .
Yet among all that God has made, there is something He treasures in a deeply personal way—you. The Bible declares, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” Ephesians 2:10. The word workmanship means masterpiece—something carefully designed, intentionally formed, and deeply valued.
You are not an afterthought. You are not ordinary. You are God’s most outstanding piece of work—most precious, most beautiful, most cherished, and deeply loved. “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalm 139:14. Every detail of your life was crafted with purpose and care.
Out of everything God created, He chose to breathe His own breath into humanity. “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life” Genesis 2:7 . You carry the breath of God, the image of God, and the love of God.
Yes—out of all creation, God loves you in a personal, intimate way. “I have loved you with an everlasting love” Jeremiah 31:3 . Nothing can separate you from that love. You are seen, valued, and treasured beyond measure.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me with intention and love. Help me see myself the way You see me—as Your masterpiece. Heal any place where I’ve forgotten my worth, and let my heart rest in Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
