On Palm Sunday, Jesus rode into Jerusalem—not on a royal horse, but on a lowly donkey. That donkey may have seemed worthless to the world, but it was chosen by the King of kings to carry His glory.
You may feel unworthy, insignificant, or overlooked, but take heart—God chooses the humble. If He can use a donkey for His divine purpose, He can use you in mighty ways! You are not forgotten. Your value is not in what people say, but in what God says about you.
Zechariah 9:9 was fulfilled on that day:
“Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey—riding on a donkey’s colt.”
Today’s Declaration:
I may feel small, but I serve a big God. He can use me, just like He used the donkey, to carry His presence and fulfill His purpose!
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for seeing value in the humble and the lowly. Help me to remember that You can use anyone—including me—for Your glory. Let me be like that donkey on Palm Sunday, willing to carry Your presence wherever You send me. Use my life as a vessel for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
God bless you abundantly.
