“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.”  Joel 2:25

Sometimes we look back and feel the sting of lost time—years marked by pain, failure, regret, or seasons where it seemed nothing bore fruit. But God is not limited by time. He is the Redeemer of time, the Restorer of all that was lost or stolen. His promise in Joel 2:25 is not poetic exaggeration—it is a divine assurance that even the most barren seasons are not wasted when surrendered to Him.

Restoration doesn’t just mean returning things to the way they were; it means bringing back something better, stronger, and more fruitful. God knows how to redeem your brokenness, rework your delays into purpose, and revive dreams that once felt dead. The same God who multiplied loaves and fish can multiply your joy, impact, and years ahead.

You are not too late. You are not forgotten. And your past does not define the harvest God is bringing. Keep trusting, keep sowing in faith, and keep believing—restoration is already on its way.

Prayer: Lord, I give You the years I feel I’ve lost—years of waiting, of weeping, of wandering. I trust You as the Restorer of my life. Revive what has died, redeem what was broken, and renew my hope. Thank You for turning ashes into beauty. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection: Which area of your life do you need to surrender for God to restore? Offer it to Him in prayer and watch Him work.

God bless you abundantly.
