Today’s  Message: God Can Do Amazing Things for You!

Key Bible Verse:

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”  Ephesians 3:20.

Introduction

Welcome, family! We have made it to the middle of the week. Sometimes, by Wednesday, we feel tired. We look at our problems, and they look big. We look at our dreams, and they seem so far away. But I am here to remind you of our theme this month: Divine Acceleration.

When you are stuck in traffic, moving forward feels impossible. But when God clears the road, you can travel a distance in one day that used to take you a whole year. God is not just going to help you move forward; He is going to speed things up. He is getting ready to do something so amazing in your life that it will leave you speechless.

1. God’s Speed is Different From Our Speed

Have you ever been stuck in a terrible traffic jam? You sit in your car, watching the clock tick, feeling frustrated because you are not moving. Sometimes, our lives feel exactly like that traffic jam. We see other people passing us by. We see friends getting married, finding great jobs, or buying homes. We start to cry in our hearts, thinking, “Lord, have You forgotten about me? Why is my life moving so slowly?”

I want to encourage you today: God’s speed is completely different from our human speed. We measure time by days and years, but God measures time by purpose. When the time is right, God can do something in one single day that would normally take you ten years to achieve by yourself. This is what we call divine acceleration. God is not bound by human calendars.

Think about Joseph in the Bible. He spent years stuck in a dark prison, forgotten by the very people he helped. But in one single day, God accelerated his life. Joseph went from being a forgotten prisoner to being the second most powerful man in Egypt! God changed his clothes, changed his address, and changed his whole life in twenty-four hours. If you feel left behind today, wipe your tears. God is preparing your sudden breakthrough. When He clears your road, you will move forward so fast that you will forget the years you spent waiting.

2. Your Past Does Not Limit God’s Power

One of the biggest lies the enemy whispers into our ears is that we are too broken for God to bless. You might be sitting in the church tonight looking back at your past mistakes. Maybe you made bad choices, failed in a relationship, or lost an opportunity because of something you did wrong. The devil wants you to believe that because of your past, you have missed your chance for God to do amazing things.

Let me speak straight to your heart: Your past does not limit God’s power. Our God is a master artist, and He loves to take broken pieces and make beautiful masterpieces out of them. Human beings might judge you by your history, but God looks at your destiny. When God decides to accelerate your life, He does not check your past record of mistakes. He washes you clean by His grace.

Look at the story of Peter. Peter denied Jesus three times in His darkest hour. He failed completely. But Jesus did not throw Peter away. Jesus forgave him, restored him, and accelerated him to preach on the Day of Pentecost, where three thousand people were saved! Your failures are just the raw materials God will use to build your amazing testimony. Do not let shame hold you back. God’s grace is bigger than your biggest mistake.

3. You Must Expect the Unexpected

If we want to see God do amazing things, we must learn to expect the unexpected. Our key Bible verse in Ephesians 3:20 says that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Read that carefully: more than we ask and more than we can even imagine.

We often put God in a tiny box. We pray for a small drop of water, but God is up in heaven preparing a massive rainstorm to water your entire garden. To experience divine acceleration, you have to stretch your faith and change your expectations. Too many times, we wake up expecting bad news. We expect the bills to pile up, we expect people to hurt us, and we expect things to fail. But what would happen if you started expecting God’s goodness every single morning?

You must open the door of your heart to miracles. Sometimes God’s blessings do not come in the package we are looking for. They come as a surprise. You might be asking God for a job, and He is preparing you to start your own business. You might be asking for a simple healing, and He wants to give you complete, overflowing health. Open your mind. Stop expecting the worst, and start expecting the God of the universe to surprise you with joy.

Challenge for the Rest of the Week

Now, I want to give you a very clear challenge for the rest of this week. It is easy to feel excited inside the church on a Wednesday night, but what happens on Thursday morning when you face real life?

My challenge for you is to actively practice the language of acceleration. For the rest of this week, I want you to completely stop complaining. Do not speak defeat over your life. When you wake up tomorrow, before you look at your phone, before you check your emails, and before you think about your problems, I want you to say out loud: “God is doing amazing things for me today, and He is bringing them fast.”

I challenge you to look for the small miracles. Did you wake up with breath in your lungs? That is an amazing thing. Did someone smile at you or offer you a kind word? That is a sign of God’s favor. I want you to write down every good thing that happens to you from now until Sunday. By changing your words and changing your focus, you are building a runway for God’s miracles to land in your life. Do not let fear steal your joy. Protect your peace. Encourage someone else this week, because when you pray for others, God opens doors for you. Take this challenge seriously, and watch how God speeds up the blessings in your life over these next few days.

Deliverance Session: Breaking the Spirit of Delay

Right now, we are going to pray against anything holding you back.

  • “Lord Jesus, we bring every heavy burden to You right now. We command the spirit of delay and stagnation to leave our lives in the mighty name of Jesus.”
  • “Every door that the enemy has locked, we declare it open by fire. Every blessing that has been tied down, we release it now.”
  • “Father, we ask for divine speed. Where we have cried for years, let us laugh this week. Heal the sick bodies, restore the broken families, and give us the wings to fly above our struggles. Thank You, Lord, for setting us free.”

Altar Call

Before we close, there is no greater miracle, and no greater acceleration, than giving your heart to Jesus. If you feel empty, if you feel lost, or if you just want to come back home to a Father who loves you, this is your moment.

If that is you, simply pray this with me:

“Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I know I am a sinner, and I need Your forgiveness. Wash me clean. I believe You died for me and rose again. Come into my heart. Be my Lord and my Savior. Help me to live for You from this day forward. In Jesus’s name. Amen.”

Conclusion

Church family, as you leave this place tonight, you are not leaving God’s presence. Step out into the rest of your week with joy. The traffic jam is over. The road is clear. Get ready, because God is about to do amazing things for you! Have a wonderfully blessed week! God bless you abundantly.
