Your greatest weapon in the middle of a battle is prayer and worship. When you lift up praise and gratitude to heaven, even in the hardest trials, the enemy has no choice but to flee.
Look to the example of Paul and Silas, who were chained in prison for preaching the gospel. Instead of complaining, they chose to worship God.
“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.” Acts 16:25-26
Through their praise, chains were broken, doors were opened, and lives were transformed. The same God who moved in their situation is still at work today.
Don’t wait until you see the victory to worship God—praise Him in advance. Praise Him through the pain, the uncertainty, and the struggle, and trust that He will bring the breakthrough.
Declare today: “I will not let my circumstances steal my praise. I choose to worship God in the middle of my battle, knowing that my victory is on the way.”
May your faith grow stronger and your heart find peace as you lift up worship to the One who is always faithful. God bless you abundantly.
